About the Role

JetRockets is looking for early-stage frontend developers who can build clean layouts and want to grow into engineers working inside a Rails product environment.

This role is for people at the beginning of their journey. Framework knowledge is not required — attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to learn matter more.

We hire layout developers and help them grow into engineers capable of building complex interfaces in a server-driven architecture.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build UI from real designs (sometimes imperfect ones).
• Work inside Rails applications (ERB, ViewComponent, Hotwire).
• Learn server-driven UI and how frontend works without SPA frameworks.
• Improve existing interfaces: polish, accessibility, details.
• Work closely with experienced engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Gradually take ownership of features.

Who we are looking for

You are a good fit if you:

• Can build layouts using HTML and CSS.
• Understand basic JavaScript (DOM, events).
• Care about visual quality and details.
